The Schoeps A 20 S is a traditional elastic suspension for microphones with a diameter of 20 mm. Its stiffer elastics are intended for setups in which additional accessories increase the load on the suspension.

Main Features

• Stiffer elastics than the standard A 20.
• Adjustable tilt angle.
• Integrated cable clamp.
• 5/8"-27 female thread, including adapters for 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch stand connections.

Application

Schoeps specifies this version when accessories such as CUT 60 or GVC are added to the CMC microphone. The stiffer elastics support the additional load; they do not automatically provide better vibration isolation.

This older design is recommended for situations with little structure-borne noise, such as studio use.

Other Version

The A 20 [161001] is the standard version with softer elastics.
