Schoeps PAD 20 C

The Schoeps PAD 20 C is a passive attenuator placed between the MK capsule and the CMC preamplifier of Schoeps Colette modules. This attenuator reduces the sound level by approximately 20 dB, which is useful for recording very loud sound sources or in high sound pressure level situations. The PAD 20 C increases the maximum sound pressure limit by about 20 dB, preventing microphone overload.
