The Sanken CS-2 is a mono shotgun microphone designed for exceptional audio capture with a rich, natural tone. It features a 120 mm long acoustic tube housed within a standard 250 mm casing, with a diameter of 19 mm. This microphone incorporates a specially developed rectangular capsule that provides sharp directivity and extended reach over long distances.

It is ideal for various applications such as outdoor recording, interviews, sports, drama, and more. The built-in high boost switch automatically compensates for the attenuation of high frequencies when used with a windscreen, ensuring that the full, natural sound is maintained.
