Denecke GR-2

Description:

The Denecke GR-2 is a precise timecode generator and reader designed for on-location sound recording. It reads and generates SMPTE/EBU timecode at standard speeds and displays timecode, user bits, and frame rate on a two-line, 12-digit LCD with optional backlighting. The GR-2 can generate timecode in formats such as 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, and 30 fps, both drop and non-drop. Its internal 24-hour clock sets the timecode clock upon power-up. Jam synchronization with external code is supported, including cross-jamming between different code rates. The compact design and low power consumption ensure extended battery life.
