The Windkiller SE (Special Edition) wind protection for portable recorders combines our best quality fur, design, and production standards to effectively protect your location recordings from wind noise.

On the outside, the Windkiller SE features our soft, high-density multi-pile fur to gradually slow down the wind before it reaches your microphone. On the inside, the Windkiller SE uses a soft and smooth open material, allowing the microphone to sound as transparent as possible while protecting your recordings from harmful wind noise.

The Windkiller SE can be attached to the base of your portable recorder's microphone capsule(s) with an elastic cord, while the leather strap firmly grips your portable/handheld recorder to keep the wind cover in place and prevent wind from entering through the base, providing enhanced wind protection.

The Windkiller SE is designed with an elastic cord, covered by a soft leather band, to securely hold your portable recorder and keep the wind cover in place, so no wind can penetrate through the base. The base of the Windkiller SE should sit on top of your recorder, allowing you to have a clear view of your recorder's LCD screen and access to the buttons or controls on the side of your portable recorder.

HOW TO INSTALL THE WKSE WINDSHIELD

Loosen the elastic cord completely and slide the Windkiller SE over the upper part of your portable recorder's body. Then tighten the cord to ensure that the leather band grips tightly around the body, under the built-in microphone diaphragm. When the Windkiller SE is correctly attached, it forms an air pocket around the microphone capsule, allowing the microphone to function as naturally as possible and minimizing wind noise in your recordings.
